King Represents Team Canada in International Competitions

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Anna King, a senior on Ohio State's rowing team, won a pair of races earlier this month representing her native Canada at the Royal Canadia Henley Regatta in Ontario.
In the Women's Senior Eight, King helped row Brock RC to a first-place finish with a time of 6:15.880, far ahead of second-place Argentina (6:28.350). Brock RC then won the Women's Championship Eight event with a time of 6:28.07, ahead second-place St. Catharines (6:32.09.).
King said competing against international competition was a rewarding opportunity.
"I am grateful to have been part of such a great group of girls and coaching staff," King said. "It was an incredible experience to represent Canada alongside my teammates and race against university athletes around the world."
King then rowed with Canada at the World University Games in London, Ontario, taking fourth overall n the Women's Eight.
