COLUMBUS, Ohio – Your Pro Bucks are set to return this weekend as Columbus takes center stage at a crucial point in the PLL calendar.

Friday
Going into the weekend, Ohio State lacrosse alumni have helped lead the way for the two top teams in the PLL as the Philadelphia Waterdogs featuring defenseman Marcus Hudgins lead the Eastern Conference with a 6-3 record. The Utah Archers featuring midfielder Tre Leclaire and attack Gannon Matthews hold a Western Conference best 6-4 record while owning a league-best 122 scores and a +32 score differential while also having a league-low 90 scores against.
Leclaire on Fire
The past two weekends in the PLL, Leclaire has been one of the best players on the field, accounting for 16 points and 10 goals including a 9-point performance against the Waterdogs on July 18. Additionally, he has scored his 10 goals on just 13 shots on goal (76.9 pct.)
Eiland and Brown Make Early Impacts
PLL rookies defenseman Cullen Brown and midfielder Blake Eiland have made an early impact for their teams in the top league of professional lacrosse.
Recently, Eiland netted his first career goal while also adding six ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers to his stat line.
Brown, who scored his first career goal in his professional debut on June 5, ranks second among Redwood defensemen in caused turnovers and ground balls.
Mariner Lighting It Up
On the Major Series Lacrosse circuit, Alex Marinier is lighting up the league, scoring a league leading 90 points through the first 10 weeks of the season. His 50 goals are nearly double the next closest players in the league who have 27 goals.
