No. 16 Ohio State Takes Third at Big Ten Championships

2026 Big Ten Rowing Championships Central // Results: HereNOW.com

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 16 ranked Ohio State women's rowing team took third place at the Big Ten Championships this weekend at the Indianapolis Rowing Center. All seven of the Buckeyes' boats qualified in the Friday prelims for the grand finals Sunday. Racing started early at 7:47 a.m. Sunday because of windy weather.

The Buckeyes' 1v8, 1v4 and 2v4 boats all took third place, helping Ohio State earn third place overall with 262 points. The 2v8, 4v8 and 3v4 boats placed fifth.

Ohio State placed four on the 2026 All-Big Ten Teams with Amelia Boes and Paige Guggenbiller both earning spots on the All-Big Ten First Team. Katerina Dohnalová and Lily Orosz were named to the All-Big Ten Second Team. Freshman Ava Semeniuk was the Buckeye's Sportsmanship Award Honoree.

Next, the 2026 D1 NCAA Rowing Selection Show will be streamed at 5 p.m. Tuesday. In all, 22 teams will be selected to compete May 29-31 at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Georgia. More information can be found at https://go.osu.edu/DH7q
