1v8 Earns Big Ten Boat of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- After going 3-0 at the Big Ten Invitational this past weekend, No. 16 Ohio State's 1v8 was named the Big Ten Boat of the Week by the league Tuesday.

The Buckeyes' 1v8 raced Saturday morning to post a win against No. 12 Rutgers and No. 20 UCLA with a time of 6:18.6. Saturday afternoon, they finished ahead of the Gonzaga, Sacramento State and Minnesota, recording a time of 6:17.7. Sunday, they topped No. 23 Indiana, Oregon State, Michigan State and Notre Dame at 6:25.9.

This is Ohio State's second Boat of the Week recognition this season, after their 4v8 earned it April 7. Ohio State will compete next in the Wolverine Double Dual in Ann Arbor, Michigan, April 25.
