
Caleb Fyock Named Tewaaraton Award Nominee

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State junior goalie Caleb Fyock is a nominee for the 2026 Tewaaraton Award, the Tewaaraton Foundation announced Saturday. This is the second consecutive nomination for Fyock for the prestigious award.
Fyock leads the country with a 7.40 goals-against average. He has started all 13 games for the Buckeyes and has a 9-3 record in net this season. The junior from Bowie, Md. has faced 347 shots this year and has a .571 save percentage on the season. He has helped the team to the top scoring defense in the country (7.08) and holding 12 of the team's 13 opponents this year to single digit goals.
Ohio State is one of 16 schools represented on the list of nominees. Fyock is one of 10 returning nominees from 2025.
Founded in 2001, The Tewaaraton Award is an annual honor recognizing the most outstanding American college lacrosse men's and women's players. ?The Tewaaraton Foundation names 25 nominees for the award before the five finalists are announced on May 7 at the conclusion of the regular season.
