COLUMBUS, Ohio – Hailey MacLeod picked up her third award of the week Thursday with the Hockey Commissioners Association annoucing its player of the month awards for January. MacLeod was named the Co-Goaltender of the Month for the first time of her career.
MacLeod, who was named the WCHA Goaltender of the Month Wedneday, played in six of the team's 10 games in January and finished 6-0-0. Five of her six wins came against ranked opponents.
Playing in both games of the series against No. 4 Penn State, MacLeod made a combined 43 saved in the series and allowed just 1.00 goal per game to the Nittany Lions to help the team to the non-conference series sweep.

She added shutouts in the wins over St. Cloud State (Jan. 9) and St. Thomas (Jan. 24).
The Buckeyes continue their WCHA schedule this weekend at No. 1 Wisconsin. The top-ranked matchup is set for 4 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Labahn Arena. Game one will be televised on Big Ten Network and game two will be streamed on B1G+.
