Ohio State improves to 6-1 on the year
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 2 ranked Ohio State women's tennis team came from behind to defeat No. 8 NC State, 5-2, Friday evening in the Ty Tucker Tennis Center. The Buckeyes improve to 6-1 on the year and the Wolfpack are now 6-4.

After losing the doubles point, the Buckeyes won five of six first sets in singles to take control. Teah Chavez, Sophia Cisse-Ignatiev and Luciana Perry went on to in straight sets for a 3-1 Ohio State lead. After the Wolfpack drew to 3-2, Audrey Spencer clinched the team win with a victory on court five, her 10th win in a row. Nao Nishino closed out the match with a win in a match tiebreaker.

- Spencer clinched the team victory, as she downed Victoria Osuigwe, 7-5, 6-4, with a shutout in the final game.
- Buckeye Nao Nishino, ranked 52nd, won the final match in a super tiebreaker, defeating No. 18 Lavinia Tanasie, 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (8).
