Ohio State Travels to RV Illinois for Mid-Week Matchup

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 19/20 Ohio State women's basketball team (13-2, 3-1 B1G) travels to RV/- Illinois (13-2, 3-1 B1G) on Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET in a game broadcast on B1G+ and AM1460.

Ohio State earned a 71-49 win against Rutgers on Sunday on alumni day.
The Buckeye defense limited the Scarlet Knights to less than 10 points in the second and fourth quarters, also forcing 21 turnovers in the game. OSU won the rebounding battle, 38-25.
Jaloni Cambridge (18), Chance Gray (17) and Elsa Lemmilä (10) scored in double figures. Lemmilä added 11 rebounds for her second career double-double.
RV/- Illinois enters this week with a 13-2 overall record and a 3-1 mark in Big Ten play. The Fighting Illini are a perfect 10-0 at home this season.
Illinois has earned conference wins against Indiana, Purdue and then No. 7/6 Maryland, handing the Terrapins their first loss of the season on New Year's Day. The Fighting Illini most recently fell to then No. 24/19 Michigan State in a close game.
Berry Wallace leads the Illinois offense with 18.2 points per game, ranking seventh in the conference. Cearah Parchment ranks in the top 10 in the Big Ten with 7.7 rebounds per game.
Ohio State leads 57-20 in the all-time series against Illinois. The Buckeyes have a 22-14 advantage when facing the Fighting Illini in Champaign.
Last season, Ohio State earned an 83-74 victory in Columbus. The Buckeyes had a trio of double-figure scorers, including returner Chance Gray (13).
In the most recent meeting in Champaign, the Buckeyes won by a 67-59 margin on Jan. 25, 2024.
