
Six Buckeyes Named IL Preseason All-Americans

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Six members of the Ohio State men's lacrosse team were named Preseason Nike Lacrosse Men's Division I Media All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse Wednesday.
Junior goalie Caleb Fyock and graduate defenseman Bobby Van Buren earn their second First Team All-America awards of the preseason. Both were named First Team All-Americans last season honors in 2025 and were named the players of the year in their respective positions.
Senior defenseman Cullen Brown is on the second team while senior short stick defensive midfielder Blake Eiland is a third team honoree.
Earning the honorable mention nod are graduate attacker Alex Marinier and graduate midfielder Brad Sharp.
The Buckeyes open the 2026 season at home against Detroit Mercy Sunday, Feb. 1. The Buckeyes and Titans face off at 2 p.m. at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Tickets for Ohio State men's lacrosse games can be purchased HERE.
