Jaloni Cambridge Returns to Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll

Cambridge averaged 22.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.0 steals per game this past week.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference announced its weekly women's basketball awards on Monday. For the fourth time this season, sophomore Jaloni Cambridge earned a spot on the Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll. Â

Cambridge continued to lead the Buckeyes this past week as they picked up their second win of the season against a top 10 opponent. Cambridge averaged 22.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.0 steals per game this past week. She was 9-of-16 (.563) from behind the arc this week, a team-high for players with more than one attempt.

Cambridge began the week with 18 points, six rebounds, two steals and tied her career-high eight assists in the Buckeyes' win over top-10 ranked TCU. Against Indiana, she tallied a game-high 22 points and five assists while shooting 50 percent from both the floor and from behind the arc. On Sunday at top-10 ranked Iowa, Cambridge had a game-high 26 points and a career-high 10 rebounds for her first collegiate double-double. She also made a career-high six triples, shooting .667 from long range, and led the team with four assists and three steals.

This season, Cambridge has scored at least 10 points in all 21 of the Buckeyes' games and is third in the league with 21.9 ppg. She also ranks in the top 10 in the conference in field goals made per game, free throws made per game, assists per game and steals per game. Cambridge has elevated her game during conference play to average 25.8 points per game as seven of nine Big Ten games have had her scoring 20 or more points.
