COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The No. 13 Ohio State women's tennis team is competing in the Michigan Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich., Friday through Sunday. Ohio State is joined by the host No. 7 Wolverines, Old Dominion and Xavier in the event. There is no team scoring, with players competing as individuals in singles and doubles.Â
The Buckeyes were 5-3 in singles, taking on seven players from Old Dominion and one Wolverine. Sophia Cisse-Ignatiev, Luciana Perry, Nao Nishino and Audrey Spencer all won in straight sets, with Teah Chavez rallying for a three-set victory. Ohio State posted a combined 3-1 doubles ledger. The tandems of Hephzibah Oluwadare/Chavez, Perry/Alessia Cau and Nishino/Megan Basil all picked up victories.Â

Each team will play one round of singles and one round of doubles per day. The third set will be played to completion in singles.
