Filin Named Big Ten Player of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Nikita Filin was named the Big Ten Player of the Week for his stellar play during the 2025 ITA Men's Tennis All-America Championship currently underway in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Â
Filin advanced to both the main singles and doubles draws with eight consecutive victories.Â
In singles, Filin earned four wins to reach the main singles round of 64. In doubles, along with partner Brandon Carpico, the pair won two matches in prequalifying and two in the qualifying draw to reach the main doubles draw round of 32.Â
