COLUMBUS, Ohio – After the first 36 holes of the Big Ten Championships, the No. 14 Ohio State women's golf team sits in fourth place.
The Buckeyes shot 294 (+6) on Saturday and have a two-round score of 582 (+6). Ahead of Ohio State is Michigan State (-3), Oregon (E) and Illinois (+2). The Buckeyes lead the 18-team field in birdies with 33 and are second in par 4 scoring (4.04).
Nellie Ong and Faith Choi lead the Buckeyes; they both have a 36-hole score of 144 (E) and are tied for ninth place. Ong shot 73 (+1) in round two and Choi shot an even 72. Ong is tied for the most birdies among the 90-player field with nine through the first two rounds. Choi has six birdies.
Kary Hollenbaugh carded a one-over 73 on Saturday. She is tied for 17th place with a score of 145 (+1). Hollenbaugh has six birdies.
Mandy Song is tied for 61st place with a two-round score of 153 (+9). She shot 80 (+8) in the second round. Song is two-under on par 3s, which is tied for second-best. She has seven birdies.
