
Two Buckeyes Finish in Top 20 at Darius Rucker Intercollegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Kary Hollenbaugh and Nellie Ong both finished in the top 20 for the No. 25 Ohio State women's golf team at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, which concluded on Wednesday.
Hollenbaugh moved 17 spots up the leaderboard after shaving six strokes off her round two score to fire a one-under 70 in the final round of play. She birdied four holes. Hollenbaugh finished with a 54-hole score of 218 (+5) and tied for 13th place.
Ong tied for 17th place with a score of 219 (+6). She shot 75 (+4) in round three.
Faith Choi carded a 74 (+3) on Wednesday and tied for 33rd place with a 54-hole score of 223 (+10).
Marina Joyce-Moreno jumped 20 spots up the leaderboard to finish tied for 36th place. She shot her best round of the tournament on Wednesday, a one-over 72. Joyce-Moreno had four birdies in the final round. She had a three-round score of 225 (+12).
Kavya Ajjarapu shot 80 (+9) in round three and finished with a total score of 239 (+26). She placed 86th.
The Buckeyes finished in 10th place out of 17 teams with a 54-hole score of 885 (+3). The Buckeyes shot 291 (+7) in the final round; it was the team's best round of the tournament. The Buckeyes had the seventh-most pars with 170. The team had 26 birdies.
Chloe Lam competed as an individual. She shot 81 (+10) on Wednesday and had a 54-hole score of 241 (+28) to place tied for 87th.
