COLUMBUS, Ohio – Week in and week out, Buckeyes raise the standard of excellence set at Ohio State, whether that be in competition, in the classroom or in the community. 'Buckeye Spotlight' recognizes Buckeye student-athletes who had noteworthy accomplishments both in contests and beyond the box score.

- Ammerman led the Buckeyes to two wins last week with a team-best 11 assists and 15 points and shared the team lead with four goals.
- At home against Akron, Ammerman had a hat trick, seven assists and 10 points, tying for fourth in program history for single game assists and points. She was one shy of the program records of 11 points and eight assists. She had a point on 10 of 13 Buckeye goals, including on seven of eight in the first half, along with two ground balls.
- Against Robert Morris Saturday, Ammerman had four assists and five points and a caused turnover.
- She is seventh in the NCAA with 18 assists and ranks fifth with 3.6 per game and enters Friday's home game vs. Cincinnati on an eight-game point streak.
- Bertrand broke her own 60m program record with a time of 7.19 seconds to finish third at the Big Ten Indoor Championships this past weekend. She previously set the program record (7.20) last season.
- Bertrand also recorded a 200m time of 23.03 which makes her the second fastest individual in the women's 200m in program history, behind Anavia Battle who set a program record of 22.39 in 2022.
- Burns hit a team-best .643 last weekend as Ohio State won four of five games at the Bulldog Invitational in Athens, Ga., including a 7-0 shutout of No. 10 Georgia on Sunday.
- Burns had at least one hit in every game and finished the weekend with five doubles, two home runs and nine RBI.
- She reached base safely in 11 of her 16 plate appearances.
- The Buckeyes (13-4-1) play their home opener this Friday when they host Saint Francis (3 p.m.) and Oakland (5:30 p.m.) as part of the Ohio State Tournament at Buckeye Field.
- Formanak made six birdies on his opening nine of the final round of the Colleton River Collegiate on his way to carding a 4-under 68 on Monday.
- The 68 was the lowest round of Formanek's young career and it was also the lowest individual final round by any of the 80 players.
- Formanek jumped 30 spots in the final round and finished in a tie for 14th, the first Top 20 finish of his career.
- On the strength of his round, the Buckeyes carded the lowest final round of any of the 16 teams in the field.
- Haas assisted four of Ohio State's seven goals in Saturday's win over Bryant.
- The four-assist day from the sophomore attacker was a career-high performance and is the most single-game assists by a Buckeye this season.
- Haas has recorded multiple points in five of his six games played for an Ohio State team that has won its last six games.
- Henwood-Rodriguez recorded 91 assists in two matches last week in league (MIVA) play.
- He also added four kills, four aces, 10 digs and a team-high six blocks from the setter position.
- Henwood-Rodriguez owns nearly 500 assists to date in his rookie season.
- The Buckeyes travel to face NJIT this weekend in the final non-conference matches of the season.
- Jungåker tied for the team lead with five points in the WCHA First Round sweep of St. Thomas last weekend.
- The freshman defender recorded four points in the 5-1 game one win over the Tommies on two goals and two assists. She tallied her first career shorthanded goal in the game.
- Jungåker was on the ice for every goal the Buckeyes scored in last Friday's game.
- She added an assist in the 4-1 game two victory to help Ohio State advance to the 2025 WCHA Final Faceoff.
Tomas Navikonis | Men's Swimming & Diving | Jr. | Panevezys, Lithuania
- Navikonis was a double winner at the Big Ten Championships over the weekend.
- Navikonis won the 200 free for the second straight year with a program record and automatic NCAA qualifying time of 1:31.01.
- He was also the champion in the 100 free, turning in an NCAA B standard time of 41.55.
- Navikonis was on the medal-winning 800 free relay, 200 free relay and 400 free relay teams.
- He was named to the All-Big Ten First Team and helped the Buckeyes to a third-place finish.
- Petty was a force in the final week of the regular season for the Buckeyes. She averaged 17.5 points per game and led the team in rebounds per game (12.5), assists per game (4.5), steals per game (1.5) and field goal percentage (.800). She was named to the Big Ten weekly honor roll for her performances.
- She began the week with 23 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high six assists in 25 minutes played in the win against a ranked Michigan State team. She was the first Buckeye since Dec. 2016 to shoot perfectly from the field with at least 10 field goal attempts as she went 11-of-11 in the game. In the road finale against a ranked Maryland team, Petty finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds and three assists.
- Petty has seven double-doubles on the season – the most by a Buckeye since the 2020-21 season. This season, Petty is averaging 9.6 points and a team-high 7.2 rebounds per game.
