Angove Earns First Team All-American Honors in 400 IM

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 11 Ohio State women's swimming and diving team turned in two All-American performances on the third day of competition at the NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Wash. on Friday.
Freshman Sienna Angove earned First Team All-American honors in the 400 IM. She placed eighth in the A final with a time of 4:07.83. She swam a time of 4:04.60 in prelims to earn her spot in finals.
Ava DeAngelis earned Honorable Mention All-American status in the 100 breast. In the consolation final, DeAngelis placed sixth, touching the wall at 58.74 and improving on her prelims time of 58.93.
Ohio State placed 17th in the 400 medley relay with the team of Delia Lloyd, DeAngelis, Nyah Funderburke and Teresa Ivan finishing in 3:31.22.
Going into the final day of competition, the Buckeyes are in 18th place with 37 points.
The NCAA Championships conclude on Saturday, March 22. Prelims begin at 1:00 p.m. ET and finals get underway at 9:00 p.m. ET.
