COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 22 Ohio State women's gymnastics team finished third in Sunday's Big Four meet with a season-best score of 196.650. UCLA won the meet with a score of 197.200 and Nebraska (196.675) was second and Rutgers (195.875) was fourth.

The teams competed in front of a sold-out crowd of 3,695 at the Covelli Center.
Ohio State (3-9, 2-7 B1G) finished the day with scores of 49.000 or higher on all four events for the first time this season. Ohio State was second on vault (49.125) and floor (49.300), third on bars (49.100) and fourth on beam (49.125).

Ohio State's best event of the day was floor. Kaitlyn Grimes and Tory Vetter led the team with scores of 9.900 to tie for third overall. Grimes' score was a career high. Riley Guevara scored a 9.850 and Maisyn Rader and Mallory Gregory added career-high 9.825s to complete the counted scores for the rotation.

Ohio State's 49.100 on uneven bars was a season best. Vetter led the team with a 9.875 on the apparatus to tie for third overall. Karleigh Reutzel scored a career-high 9.850 and Grace Walker (9.825) and Kate Parks (9.775) tied their career-bests.

Walker continued her career-high day with a 9.825 on beam.

Also reaching personal best scores in the meet were Maisyn Rader on beam (9.875) and Cameron Smith on beam (9.825) and vault (9.875). Smith's vault score tied for second in the meet.

Tory Vetter finished second overall in the all-around, earning a 39.500 in the meet.

Ohio State is back in action Friday with a dual meet at NC State. The meet is set for 7 p.m. from Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh, N.C. and will be streamed on ACCNx.Â
