Buckeyes Turn in All-American Performance in 800 Free Relay

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 11 Ohio State women's swimming and diving team completed the first day of competition at the NCAA Championships on Wednesday, turning in an honorable mention All-American performance in the 800 free relay.
The night opened with the 200 medley relay. The team of Nyah Funderburke, Ava DeAngelis, Paige Hall and Teresa Ivan finished in 1:35.70 to place 20th.
The night wrapped up with the 800 free relay. The team of Sienna Angove, Erin Little, Tia Lindsay and Rachel Bockrath placed 13th with a time of 6:59.19 to earn Honorable Mention All-American honors.
After the first day of competition, the Buckeyes are in 16th place with eight points.
The NCAA Championships continue Thursday, March 20-Saturday, March 22 in Federal Way, Wash. Prelims will begin at 1:00 p.m. ET each day and finals will get underway at 9:00 p.m. ET each day.
