The performance was his fifth hat trick of the season and sixth multi-goal game of the year. His 24 goals and 25 points this season lead the league.
Oldman finished 13-for-22 (.591) in faceoffs Saturday to give the Buckeyes the win at the faceoff dot. His performance against the Fighting Irish's All-American Will Lynch made Ohio State the first team to hold Notre Dame to under .500 at the faceoff this season. The Pickering, Ontario native grabbed 11 ground balls in the game. He is now .565 from the dot this year with 78 wins.
