Already down one game in the best of three Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals and trailing 2-0 in Game 2, the No. 9 men’s hockey team made a mighty comeback to win Game 2, 3-2 in OT, and Game 3, 3-2, and has positioned itself to host Penn State Saturday at 8:30 p.m. in the semifinal round.

The No. 15 men’s lacrosse team (7-1) won its seventh consecutive game by defeating two-time defending national champion Notre Dame, 10-9, in South Bend.



The No. 21 women’s lacrosse team came from behind to defeat Cincinnati, 10-9, in overtime Friday to stay unbeaten at 6-0 and tie the 2002 team for the best start in program history.

The women’s golf team placed 10th of 17 teams at the prestigious Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at Hilton Head, S.C.



The softball team has won 12 of its last 13 games, including six consecutive games, and enters this afternoon’s 4 p.m. game against No. 1 Texas with a fine 17-4-1 record.

The No. 16 men’s volleyball team swept New Jersey Institute of Technology in two matches this weekend to improve to 9-8 on the season.



The No. 7 wrestling team placed sixth at the Big Ten Tournament and qualified nine wrestlers for the upcoming NCAA championships.

The women's hockey team (27-7-3) has earned the No. 2 overall seed for the NCAA Tournament and will host a regional final at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 15 at the OSU Ice Rink against either Penn State or St. Lawrence.



The No. 12 women’s basketball team defeated Iowa before falling to eventual tournament champion UCLA and will now prepare for the NCAA tournament with its 25-6 overall record.

The No. 23 women’s gymnastics team (3-10) won the uneven bars competition and scored a 196.325 but fell at No. 20 NC State, which scored a 197.000, Friday night.



The men’s basketball team defeated Nebraska, 116-114, in double overtime in a must-win game but fell at Indiana to complete their regular season with a 17-14 overall record and 9-11 mark in the Big Ten with tournament action set for Wednesday vs. Iowa in Indianapolis.

The men’s golf team climbed nine places by shooting the lowest score of the final round to finish seventh of 16 teams at the Colleton River Collegiate in Bluffton, S.C.




The baseball team (4-9) has won three of its last four games, including a series win vs. Valparaiso over the weekend at Bill Davis Stadium, and heads into Big Ten Conference play this week at Indiana.

The men’s tennis team improved to 12-2 on the year with wins over Illinois and Penn State this weekend.
The fencing programs competed at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships hosted by Denison University Saturday and came away with 15 Top 8 finishes and five Top 3 results.

The No. 3 men’s gymnastics team fell on the road at Nebraska by a 325.650-321.450 score and is now 9-2 overall and 1-1 in the Big Ten.
