COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 18 Ohio State women's gymnastics team will compete in a dual meet against Illinois Friday at Huff Hall in Champaign, Ill. The meet between the Buckeyes (2-4, 1-2 B1G) and Illini (3-3, 1-2 B1G) starts at 8 p.m. and will be streamed on B1G+ (subscription required).

Buckeyes in a Nutshell
Ohio State is back home Sunday, Feb. 16 for a Big Ten dual meet against Minnesota. The meet will start at 2 p.m. from the Covelli Center.

Following the match up against the Gophers, the Buckeyes will host the Big Four meet against Nebraska, Pitt, Rutgers and UCLA (March 2) and a quad meet against Kent State and West Virginia (March 16).

Buckeyes in a Nutshell
- Ohio State is on the road for the second straight meet after a trip to Michigan last Friday. In the dual vs. the Wolverines, Ohio State finished with a score of 196.025. The Buckeyes won the team vault title with a 49.000 on the day. Tory Vetter and JJ Coleman earned a share of the event title with a pair of 9.850s.
- The Buckeyes are top 15 in the country on vault and floor. The team is tied for 11th with a 49.125 average on vault and a season high of 49.300 in its season opener. On floor, Ohio State is tied for 13th with an average score of 49.200 and a season-high of 49.375 earned in the home and Big Ten opener vs. Iowa. Guevara leads the team, and Big Ten rookies, with a 9.894 average on floor, good for 15th nationally. Tory Vetter's 9.850 average on vault is the team best.
- In addition to Guevara, freshmen JJ Coleman and Cameron Smith have made their impact in the Buckeye lineup in their first collegiate season. Coleman won the vault title in her first career home meet with a career best, and team season best, 9.900 and also competes on floor. She now has two vault titles in four meets for the Buckeyes. Smith is in the vault and beam lineup and is second on the team on vault (9.838) and third on beam (9.781).
- Along with vault, Vetter leads the team on bars with a 9.838 average and a season and career best 9.925. She is the lone all-around competitor for the Buckeyes through the first four meets. She won the all-around in two meets so far this year.
- Payton Harris' 9.850 average on beam leads the team. She earned a season-high 9.875 vs. Iowa.
- Vetter has won a team high six event titles on the year. She has won an event title on every apparatus this season after picking up the vault crown in last meet. Â
- Ohio State is led by eighth-year head coach Meredith Paulicivic. Paulicivic has earned an 80-51 record in her time at Ohio State. She is assisted by Randy Monahan, Mickayla Stuckey and Quest Hayden.
