COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 9-ranked Ohio State women's tennis team shut out No.16 Oklahoma State Sunday in Columbus, Ohio. The Buckeyes are now 6-1 on the year and the Cowgirls are 6-5.

The Buckeye duo of Audrey Spencer and Nao Nishino posted the first win of the day over Oklahoma State's No. 73-ranked team to open doubles. Teah Chavez and Luciana Perry secured the doubles point for the Buckeyes with a win on court one.Â
Ohio State won the first three completed singles matches, with victories from Spencer, Perry and Bereznyak to bring the Buckeyes to a 4-0 victory.

- After the Cowgirls won on court two, Luciana Perry and Teah Chavez took the victory on court one, 6-4, securing the doubles point for the Buckeyes.
- No. 79-ranked Spencer posted a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Alian Zack on court six, bringing the Buckeyes to a 2-0 lead.Â
- Perry, ranked No. 9, followed with a 6-2, 6-4 win over No. 88 Anastasiya Komar on court one for a 3-0 Buckeye advantage.
