Buckeyes Host Hawkeyes for Pink Game on Monday

The teams will play at noon on Monday as pink pom poms will be given away to fans upon entry.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 9/8 Ohio State women's basketball team (21-3, 10-3 B1G) hosts Iowa (18-7, 8-6 B1G) on Monday for a matinee on Presidents Day. Tip-off is scheduled for noon ET. The game will be broadcast on FOX and AM1460.
Monday's game is the pink game. Pink pom poms will be given away at the northeast, northwest and southwest entrances. There will also be a Nike sneaker key chain drop during the game as well as a spirit clinic performance at halftime.

- Ohio State outlasted Minnesota by an 87-84 margin after the Gophers forced overtime with a fourth-quarter run. The Buckeyes shot 6-of-8 (.750) from the floor in overtime, taking control of the extra time with back-to-back baskets and sealing the win with a block from Elsa Lemmilä.
- Cotie McMahon led the game with 25 points and matched her season-high six assists. Ava Watson scored 16 points and was 4-of-4 from long range. Jaloni Cambridge and Taylor Thierry chipped in 10 points apiece. J. Cambridge also added a career-high six steals.
- The Buckeyes have recorded at least 10 steals in eight consecutive games – a feat that the program most recently accomplished during February and March 2001.
- McMahon was named to the Wooden Award's late midseason top 20 list and the Naismith Trophy Midseason Team last week.
- Iowa enters the game with an 18-7 overall record and is 8-6 in conference play. The Hawkeyes are riding a six-game win streak dating back to Feb. 22 against Washington.
- Iowa owns conference wins against Purdue, Penn State, Washington, Northwestern, then No. 4 USC, Minnesota, Nebraska and Rutgers and has fallen to then No. 17 Michigan State, No. 8 Maryland, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska and Oregon.
- Lucy Olsen leads the Hawkeyes' scoring efforts with 17.0 ppg, while Hannah Stuelke (13.2) and Addison O'Grady (11.4) are also averaging double figures. Stuelke leads Iowa with 8.0 rebounds per game.
- Ohio State leads 39-37 in the all-time series against Iowa. The Buckeyes have the 23-10 advantage when facing the Hawkeyes in Columbus.
- Last season, each team won on its home court with Ohio State capturing a 100-92 overtime win on Jan. 21 and Iowa winning by a 93-83 mark on March 3.
