How are you connected to the military?

Both of my parents served in the Air Force. In addition to my parents, I have had many additional family members serve including both of my grandfathers as well as 3 of my uncles. I am proud to have so many family members who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

How do you stay connected to them?

I am fortunate that many of my family members who have served are still alive today. I get to learn more about their journey and experiences. Having the ability to spend time with my family and listen as they reflect on their experiences is something that I will always cherish.

How has your relationship with this military member influenced your views on service and patriotism?

My relationships have taught me to never taken anything for granted, always give back when you can and take opportunities to thank and learn from those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
