Chaez/Perry in San Diego, Spencer, Nishino and Oluwadare in Texas
COLUMBUS, Ohio --Â This week, members of the Ohio State women's tennis team are competing in the last two ITA events of the fall.
ITA Conference Masters Championships Tournament Central
The doubles team of Luciana Perry and Teah Chavez was the Big Ten representative into the ITA Conference Masters Championships, held at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.Â
After a first round bye, Chavez and Perry, the tournament's No. 2 seed, posted a straight set win against a team from Old Dominion. In the quarterfinals, the Buckeye duo dropped its match against a tandem from San Diego State in a match tiebreaker.Â

At the ITA Central Sectional Championships hosted by Texas A&M in College Station, Texas, the tandem of Audrey Spencer and Nao Nishimno is in the doubles draw and freshman Hebhzibah Oluwadare competed in singles..Â
Spencer and Nishino fell in a match tiebreaker to a team from Nebraska in the opening round. The Buckeye duo then won its first consolation match in a match tiebreaker to move on. Spencer and Nishino will take on the No. 1 seed from Michigan in the consolation semifinals Saturday.
Oluwadare lost her opening round match. In consolation, the Buckeye rookie advanced after her opponent withdrew, but dropped her next match in straight sets.Â
