
Ohio State Fall Invitational Next Up for Swimming & Diving

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 14 Ohio State women's swimming and diving team (1-1) and No. 19 men's team (1-1) will host the annual Ohio State Fall Invitational at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion Nov. 18-21.

Meet Info
- In addition to Ohio State, the participating teams are Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Penn State, Purdue, UCLA and Yale. Pitt, Northwestern and Miami will compete in diving only.
- Tuesday's finals session will begin at 5:00 p.m. Swimming prelims will begin at 9:30 a.m., diving prelims will start at 11:30 a.m. and finals will begin at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday-Friday.
- All sessions of the Ohio State Fall Invitational can be streamed on B1G+.
- Admission for fans is free. Wednesday will be the Pink Meet and Friday will be the Our Honor Defend Military Appreciation Day.

Men's Meet Notes
- The Buckeyes opened the season with a second-place finish at the inaugural Raleigh Rumble, Ohio State defeated Virginia Tech, 485.5-429, and fell to NC State 490-485.5.
- Cornelius Jahn turned in an NCAA standard time in the 200 back, placing second with a time of 1:42.03.
- In the 1-meter dive, Tyler Read (352.75), Dom Roberto (311.30) and Ernest Braitenbach (309.60) all had NCAA Zones qualifying scores. Read was the winner of the event.
- Braitenbach won the 3-meter dive with an NCAA Zones qualifying score of 356.25. Matthew Yuan (321.35) also had a Zones qualifying score.
- Matt Klinge won the 100 fly, turning in an NCAA standard time of 45.07.
- Tristan Jankovics earned the victory in the 400 IM, touching the wall at 3:43.29, which is an NCAA cut.
Women's Meet Notes
- Ohio State placed second at the Raleigh Rumble to open the season. The Buckeyes defeated Virginia Tech, 546-364.5, and fell to NC State, 790-546.
- Delia Lloyd placed second in the 200 back with an NCAA standard time of 1:54.41.
- Lena Hentschel was the winner of both the 1-meter (305.10) and the 3-meter (344.35) dives. Both her scores are NCAA Zones qualifiers.
- Brooklyn Petit (265.70) recorded an NCAA Zones qualifying score on the 1-meter and, on the 3-meter, Mia Prusiecki (307.45) had a Zones qualifying score.
- Paige Delma turned in an NCAA standard time of 4:11.23 in the 400 IM to place second. She also turned in an NCAA standard time in the 100 breast; she finished in 1:00.28 to place second.
- Rachel Bockrath won the 100 free with an NCAA cut of 48.09. Erin Little placed fourth with an NCAA cut of 48.35.
- Mila Nikanorov placed first in the 500 free with an NCAA standard time of 4:42.52.
- Bockrath recorded another NCAA cut in the 200 free, placing second with a time of 1:45.39.
- Select Buckeyes will compete at the Toyota U.S. Open Dec. 3-6 in Austin, Texas.
