- Lorenzo Styles Jr. returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter. It was the Buckeyes' first kickoff return for a touchdown since Jordan Hall vs. Michigan Nov. 17, 2010 and the first of 100 yards or longer since Ted Ginn Oct. 29, 2005 vs. Minnesota.
- On the Buckeyes' third drive of the game, Julian Sayin converted on fourth down and found Bryson Rodgers for an 11-yard touchdown reception. It was Rodgers' first career touchdown catch.
- Isaiah West recorded a career-long 38-yard rush at the end of the first half and ended the game with a career-high 61 yards.
