Ohio State Travels to RV Michigan and No. 24 Penn State

The Buckeyes face Michigan on Friday at 7 p.m. and Penn State on Sunday at 2 p.m.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's volleyball team (5-17, 2-12 B1G) travels to RV Michigan (17-8, 7-7 B1G) and No. 24 Penn State (14-10, 8-6 B1G) this weekend. The Buckeyes will face the Wolverines on Friday at 7 p.m. and the Nittany Lions on Sunday at 2 p.m. with both matches being broadcast live on B1G+.

BUCKEYE PREVIEW
- Ohio State earned two five-set road wins last week, beating Maryland (23-25, 25-16, 25-21, 11-25, 15-12) and Rutgers (25-23, 18-25, 25-23, 18-25, 15-12).
- Freshman Na'Vea Gauthier recorded a career-high 12 kills against the Terrapins before leading the team with a career-high 15 kills against the Scarlet Knights. Reese Wuebker tied the match-high 16 kills against Maryland and notched 10 kills against Rutgers. The Buckeyes had four in double-figure kills vs. Rutgers - Gauthier, Wuebker, Ashley Carr (career-high 12) and Hannah Jones (14).
- Against the Terrapins, Olivia Hasbrook recorded 20 digs for the fourth time this season and surpassed 700 career digs.
- RV Michigan enters the match with a 17-8 overall record and an even 7-7 in Big Ten play. Since Oct. 24, the Wolverines have beaten Illinois, then No. 19 Penn State, Maryland and Rutgers and have fallen to then No. 10 Purdue.
- Allison Jacobs is fifth in the league with 3.94 kills/set, while Maddie Cuchran is seventh with 3.35 digs/set. Serena Nyambio ranks sixth with 1.29 blocks/set.
- Ohio State leads 57-30 in the all-time series against Michigan and is 19-16 against the Wolverines in Ann Arbor.
- In the Buckeyes' Oct. 24 loss, Reese Wuebker led the OSU offense with 12 kills.
- No. 24 Penn State enters the weekend with a 14-10 overall record and is 8-6 in Big Ten play. The Nittany Lions are scheduled to play at No. 20 Minnesota on Friday.
- Since Oct. 26, the Lady Lions have beaten Illinois and lost to Michigan, then No. 24 Indiana and No. 9 Purdue.
- Kennedy Martin continues to lead the Big Ten with 5.30 kills/set, while Gillian Grimes ranks sixth with 3.54 digs/set.
- Ohio State trails 21-55 in the all-time series against Penn State and is 7-29 when facing the Nittany Lions in State College.
- In the Buckeyes' Oct. 26 loss, Na'Vea Gauthier had a team-high 11 kills and Olivia Hasbrook had a team-high 16 digs.Â
