Buckeye This and That
- At NCAA Regionals last season, the Buckeye women were fifth, with the men eighth.
- The top two teams in each regional earn an automatic berth into the NCAA Championships, with 14 at-large teams selected. The first four finishers at each regional not on an automatic qualifier or at-large team automatically earn a spot, along with two at-large selections. In all, 32 teams and 38 individuals make up the NCAA Championships field.
- The Buckeyes last competed at the Big Ten Championships Oct. 31, with both teams finishing 10th. Aniya Mosley led the way, finishing 20th to earn women's All-Big Ten accolades. Kevin Agnew was first for the men and finished 33rd.
- Tedora Iovi has been a counter for the Buckeyes in all five races. Katie Castelli was in the Buckeyes' top two in the four races she ran and Aniya Mosley crossed the line first for Ohio State in all three races she raced (Mizzou, Texas A&M, Big Ten Championships). Mia Robillard and Zoee Lehman were among the Buckeye counters in their four races. Ana Karmol has raced in all six events and has been in the Buckeye top five in five meets.

- Seven of the men on this year's roster have experience at the NCAA Regional Championships. Kevin Agnew has competed in the regional meet three times (2021, '23, '24) and Sean Carney (2022, '23) and Liam Shaughnessy (2023, '24) have both competed in the conference meet twice. Colby Adams, Jack Agnew and Weston Day all raced in last year's event, and Keegan Souhan was in the 2022 championships.
- As a freshman, Day finished 26th last year, one spot out of All-Region honors.
- For the women, Audrey DeSantis has raced in two events (2022, '23) and Ana Karmol was in the 2023 championships. Katie Castelli, Teodora Iovi, Zoee Lehman, Aniya Mosley and Sydney Paul all made their regional debut last year.
