Ohio State travels to face Indiana Oct. 10
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State (5-5, 2-2) suffered a 1-0 loss against Wisconsin (2-6, 1-3) Friday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
- The Badgers scored in the 7' off the left foot of Matthew Zachemski, assisted by Gianluca Del Priore.
- Ohio State kept possession in the first half after the goal, outshooting Wisconsin 9-5 and recording four more corners, 5-1.
- Defender Dyland Onwona-Agyeman (Des Moines, Iowa/Shattuck St. Mary's School) made his first career start for the Buckeyes.
- The Buckeyes had several near-chances in the second half totaling 15 shots and six corners. Ohio State's defense limited the Badgers to two shots and one corner in the second half.
- Wisconsin's keeper Matisse Hébert faced 24 shots, including eight shots on goal. He made eight saves to keep the Buckeyes scoreless.
- Ohio State keeper Max Trejo made two saves and faced seven shots. He is now 5-5 in goal this year.
- At halftime, the Wexner Medical Center staff was recognized for the treatment and care of senior Nathan Demian.
