Game Recap
- The Wildcats took an early lead, scoring twice in the first quarter to get ahead of the Buckeyes, 2-0.
- In the second quarter, Katie Fichtner got three shots off, but none found their mark. Maddie Stevens made three saves to keep Ohio State trailing by just two goals going into halftime.
- The Wildcats pulled away further in the third quarter, scoring three times to take a 5-0 lead over the Buckeyes. Loryn Jordon had the lone shot of the quarter for the Buckeyes and it was blocked.
- Northwestern added two more goals in the fourth quarter and went on to earn the 7-0 win.
