Lori Walker-Hock to be Inducted into Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association Hall of Fame

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women's soccer head coach Lori Walker-Hock will be inducted into the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) Hall of Fame this fall. The recognition celebrates her remarkable career and impact on the sport, both at Ohio State and within the collegiate soccer community both in Ohio and nationally.
Lori Walker-Hock's success with the Ohio State Buckeyes Women's Soccer program is widely noted within Big Ten circles. The three-time Big Ten Coach of the Year and 2002 Big Ten Tournament Outstanding Coach is one of four honorees for the OCSA Hall of Fame.
Walker-Hock has earned more than 310 wins over 29+ seasons leading the Buckeyes, and 18 NCAA Tournament Appearances with a College Cup Semifinal spot in 2010. In those 29+ years, Walker-Hock has coached 12 All-Americans, 13 professional players, 20 national team members and eight National Soccer Coaches Association of America/United Soccer Coaches (NSCAA/USC) Scholar All-Americans.
Bud Lewis, a member of the OCSA executive board, presented Walker-Hock with a Hall of Fame plaque prior to Ohio State's home match against Washington on Oct. 12. That match was also part of Alumni Weekend on campus and many with Walker-Hock's former players as well as members of the Buckeye soccer community, where able to join in the celebration.
