Buckeyes Wrap Up First Round in Fayetteville

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's golf team completed the first round of the Blessings Collegiate Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. on Monday.
Kary Hollenbaugh led the Buckeyes, carding a 74 (+2) in round one. She is tied for 18th place. Hollenbaugh birdied six holes.
Faith Choi shot 76 (+4) on Monday and is tied for 29th. Choi had four birdies on the day.
Marina Joyce-Moreno and Nellie Ong are tied for 42nd place. Both shot 79 (+7) in round one and each birdied two holes.
Mandy Song carded an 80 (+8) and is in 46th place. She had two birdies in the first round of play.
The Buckeyes shot a team score of 308 (+20) and are in ninth place.
The Blessings Collegiate continues Oct. 1-2. Live TV coverage will be provided by Golf Channel from 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. ET each day.
