
OSU Open and Duals Kick Off Buckeye Slate this Weekend

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State fencing program begins its 2024-25 campaign at home in French Field House, as it hosts the OSU Open Saturday and OSU Duals Sunday. Admission and parking (on the south side of the building) are free both days.

The OSU Open
Saturday is an individual tournament, with men's and women's competitions in foil, saber and epee.

The day opens with men's epee and foil at 8:30 a.m., followed by men's saber at 9:45 a.m. Women's epee and foil will start at 1:30 p.m., with women's saber at 2:45 p.m.

Sunday features five rounds of dual competition, with Ohio State, Oberlin, Cleveland State, Denison, Georgia Tech and the OSU Club team participating. Results will be updated throughout the day on OhioStateBuckeyes.com.

A Look at the Buckeye 2024-25 Slate
- Ohio State will return to action in November, hitting the road for the Western Invitational Nov. 2-3 in San Diego, Calif., and the Elite Invitational Nov. 17 in Philadelphia.
- The new year begins with a trip east, as Ohio State will compete in the St. John's Duals Jan. 18 and the Philadelphia Invitational Jan. 19.
- The Northwestern Duals in Evanston, Ill., wrap up the regular season.
- Detroit Mercy will host the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference Championships Feb. 22-23.
- NCAA Regionals will be at a site to be determined in March and Penn State will host the NCAA Championships March 20-23 in University Park, Pa.
