The nationally ranked – No. 8 – field hockey team remains unbeaten at 6-0 with road wins last week over Richmond and No. 18 Old Dominion. Next home game: Friday vs. Michigan State at 4 p.m.

Also still unbeaten: the No. 21 men’s soccer team thanks to a 1-0 win over Butler on Friday to improve its record to 5-0-1. Next home match: Sunday at 6 p.m. vs. Rutgers
The men’s and women’s golf teams each played in the Folds of Honor Collegiate that wrapped up last week in Grand Haven, Mich. The women placed third and the men were seventh. Both fields featured 15 teams, including 11 nationally ranked teams, the Service Academies, a Division II school and an HBCU.

The No. 20 women’s soccer team is 6-1-1 after opening Big Ten play with a 3-0 win at Indiana and a non-conference concluding, 2-0, win over Brown. Next home match: Thursday at 7 p.m. vs. Iowa.
Women’s volleyball went 2-1 this weekend at its own Sports Imports Classic with wins over No. 20 Miami, Fla., and Buffalo. The team is now 5-3 on the year and plays Bowling Green in its next home match Sunday at 1 p.m.
Women’s tennis competed at the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic in Greenville, S.C., over the weekend. Audrey Spencer led the Buckeyes, winning the Flight 5 title. The team continues its fall season in preparation for the NCAA singles and doubles championships, which will be held in the fall for the first time. The championships will be held Nov. 19-24 in Waco, Texas.
