- Head Coach Jen Flynn Oldenburg
- "Emily Londot is a leader for us and we rely on her in big moments and even in the start of sets. She was scoring early on tips and then they started to pick it up and she felt a little bit out of rhythm. At the start of the fourth, we talked about it with Mia Tuman and said, 'what do you need to swing again?'. Mia gave Londot a couple medium tempo balls and she started swinging. Everybody responds after Londot or anyone takes a big swing like that but I think it really turned the match in a sense. Buffalo had a little momentum there and Londot taking big rips helps everyone else loosen up a bit."
- Sophomore setter Mia Tuman
- "It was definitely exciting. We love to keep it interesting and it meant a lot to have Buckeye Nation and a lot of fans in the crowd to give us energy and feed into us a lot."
- Freshman libero Olivia Hasbrook
- "I think my teammates helped me a lot and put me in good situations, which makes my job a lot easier. When you have an awesome block and awesome defenders around you and people you know you can trust – it makes my job easy having great girls around me."
