Ohio State Well Represented at 2024 U23 World Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Three former Ohio State rowers competed in the 2024 World Rowing Under 23 Championships and fared well representing three different nations at the event. Races were held Aug. 18-25 in St. Catharines, Canada.
Paige Wheeler (OSU letterwinner 2022-24), along with teammate Ellie Van Houten, won the U23 Women's Double Sculls Final B race with a time of 7:02.94. She represented the United States at the event.
Ollie Clotten (2021-24), representing Germany, raced in the Women's Eight event and finished third overall with a time of 6:08.61.
Finally, Emma Alimbau Borras of Spain, along and teammate Naroa Zubimendi, finished second overall in the Women's Pair A-Final with a time of 7:05.23. Borras will be a sophomore at Ohio State in 2025.
