Kailyn Dudukovich now with 30 goals and is tied for 4th all-time in program history

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State took control early and dominated the match, defeated Ashland 3-1 on a muggy Sunday evening at the Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The Buckeyes (3-0-0) scored two goals in the first ten minutes and never looked back.

Senior Kailyn Dudukovich continued her hot start with her fifth goal of the season. Freshmen Jadin Bonham and Ava Greco each scored their first goals of their careers. Greco also notched her first career assist for a total of three points on the night.

It was Senior Night for the program and the Buckeyes honored Dudukovich, Sydney Jones, Peyton McNamara and Tatum Adamson prior to the opening kick.

How it Happened

Jadin Bonham opened up the scoring early in the sixth minute of the match. With a pass from Ava Greco, Bonham went on a solo run to beat the Ashland defense and find the low left corner of the net. That was her first career goal and Greco’s first career assist.

Kailyn Dudukovich scored moments later in the ninth minute. Dudukovich took on three defenders and beat the goalkeeper to score her 30th career goal and her fifth of the season.

After Ashland got on the board in the 50th minute, Ava Greco scored off a deflection from the Ashland keeper on a Buckeye corner kick. That was Greco’s first career goal and a perfect cap to the night.
