
Three Buckeyes Set to Compete at Paris Olympics

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Three members of the Ohio State artistic (synchronized) swimming team compete this week at the Paris Olympics. Junior Ruby Remati and incoming freshmen Scarlett Finn and Keana Hunter will compete for their respective countries starting Aug. 5 with the team technical routine at the Aquatics Centre.

All three will compete in the team routine in Paris. Hunter and Remati are swimming for the United States and Finn is competing for Canada.

Artistic swimming competition starts with the team technical routine on Monday, Aug. 5, followed by the free and acrobatic routines on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. All three sessions will start at 1:30 p.m. ET and will be streamed on Peacock.

This year's Olympics are the first for all three Buckeyes. Remati was an alternate for Team USA's 2020 Tokyo Olympic team.

Remati competed two seasons for the Buckeyes before taking the 2023-24 academic year to train with the national team. She is a national champion in duet, trio and A Figures for the Buckeyes and helped the teak to consecutive overall national titles in 2022 and 2023.
