Kailyn Dudukovich scores her 26th career goal
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State opened the season with a 1-0 win over visiting Duke on Thursday night at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
The Buckeyes (1-0-0) scored the winning goal in the second half and had multiple saves from Junior goalkeeper Molly Pritchard.
This is the first time the Buckeyes have beaten Duke since 2018. It is also the first time Ohio State has beaten a ranked opponent in the first game of the season.

How it Happened
After going scoreless in the first half, the Buckeyes put the pressure on early. In the 55th minute, Kailyn Dudukovich stole a pass from a Duke defender right outside the goal box and scored into the top left corner of the net. This is Dudukovich’s first goal of the season and the 26th of her career.
Molly Pritchard had a career high of 11 saves, earning her the first shutout of the season and the 5th of her career.
