Women’s Hockey Sets 2024-25 Conference Schedule

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's hockey team's 28-game conference schedule for the 2024-25 season has been set, the Western Collegiate Hockey Association announced Thursday. The reigning WCHA regular season champion Buckeyes, who finished 26-2-0 in league play last year, start the program's 26th season in September.
Ohio State is the only team in the WCHA to start the season with two straight conference series. The Buckeyes open the 2024-25 campaign at home against Minnesota Duluth Sept. 21-22 and go on the road to play Bemidji State Sept. 27-28. This season is the first time in three seasons Ohio State opens the campaign on home ice.
The first half of the Buckeyes' conference season is highlighted by home series against Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Gophers come to Columbus Nov. 1-2 and the 2024 national championship game rematch between Ohio State and Wisconsin is set for Nov. 15-16. The Buckeyes are set to faceoff against the Gophers and Badgers on the road Jan. 31-Feb. 1 and Feb. 14-15, respectively.
Ohio State closes its regular season at home Feb. 21-22 against St. Cloud State. The Buckeyes start the season series with the Huskies in St. Cloud, Minn. Oct. 18-19.
The WCHA postseason begins Feb. 28, with the top four teams in the regular season standings hosting a best-of-three quarterfinal series. The winners of the quarterfinals advance to the 2025 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff March 7-8. The games will be played at AMSOIL Arena in Duluth, Minn.
Non-conference opponents, game times and the ticket on sale date for Ohio State women's hockey home games will be announced at a later date.
