Mosley’s 1500m Program Record Headlines Day One of Penn Relays

The Buckeyes opened competition at the Penn Relays on Thursday with four track events.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team competed in the first day of the Penn Relays on Thursday.
Aniya Mosley broke the women's 1500m program record by more than one second, running a 4:12.34 to finish as the runner-up. She previously ranked fifth among the program's leaders and crushed her previous PR by more than 8.5 seconds.
TRACK RESULTS
The Buckeyes continue competing at the Penn Relays on Friday, beginning with the men's discus and women's shot put at noon. OSU also starts competition at the Clark Wood Invitational on Friday with the men's hammer throw at 11 a.m.

TRACK RESULTS
- 400m hurdles: Chanler Robinson rounded out the top-10 in the event with a time of 59.26.
- 10000m: Zubin Jha finished 10th overall (29:37.56).
- 1500m: Daniella Santos (4:25.64), Andrea Kuhn (4:25.99) and Gia Napoleon (4:30.33) also competed in the event behind Mosley's record-breaking performance.
- 5000m: Giovanni Copploe finished in a season-best time of 14:29.94.
