Ohio State now 15-6 on the year and 8-1 in the B1G heading into final regular season weekend
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 16 Ohio State women's tennis team closed out its regular season road schedule with a 4-1 win at Nebraska Sunday afternoon in Lincoln, Neb. The Buckeyes, on an eight-match winning streak, are now 15-6 this season, with an 8-1 B1G record.
After the Buckeyes won the doubles point vs. the Cornhuskers, Irina Cantos Siemers and Sydni Ratliff posted singles victories for a 3-1 Ohio State lead. Freshman Audrey Spencer clinched the win, as she rallied for a three-set victory. Alessia Cau and Madeline Atway teamed up for a shutout win in doubles, with Cantos Siemers and Akanksha Bhan prevailing in a tiebreaker to clinch the doubles point vs. Nebraska (11-9, 2-7 B1G).

- Alessia Cau and Madeline Atway got doubles started with a 6-0 shutout on court three against Isabel Adrover Gallego and Lucy Loy.
- The court two tandem of Irina Cantos Siemers and Akanksha Bhan was down a break but won back-to-back games to get on serve at four-all. Each team held to force the tiebreaker. The Buckeye duo did not allow a point to win the match and seal the doubles point.
