COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team splits the squad this weekend as some Buckeyes travel to the Raleigh Relays and others travel to the Texas Relays. Both meets will take place Thursday through Saturday.

At the Raleigh Relays on Thursday, field events are scheduled to start at 9:45 a.m. with the men's javelin and the women's shot put and track events are scheduled to begin at 4:40 p.m. with the men's 1500m. On Friday, the women's discus is slated for 9:45 a.m. and the women's 100m hurdles starts at 12:50 p.m. On Saturday, the men's hammer begins the field schedule at 9:45 a.m., while the women's 4x100m relay begins the track schedule at 1 p.m.

At the Texas Relays, field events begin on Thursday at noon ET with the women's hammer throw, while track events start with the women's 400m hurdles prelims at 5:30 p.m. ET. On Friday, the men's discus starts the day at 10 a.m. ET and the women's 4x100m relay prelims begin the track competition at 10:35 a.m. ET. On Saturday, the and the women's discus B section begins at 11 a.m. ET and the 4x800m relay begins at 11:40 a.m. ET.

The Buckeyes opened the indoor season at the USF Alumni Invitational two weekends ago.
Amaya Ugarte broke the program record in the women's high jump by clearing 1.85m / 6'0.75". Ohio State swept the high jump competition with Reign Winston winning the men's high jump (2.15m / 7'0.5").
The Buckeyes also swept the 800m with Aniya Mosley winning the women's competition (2:04.53) and Alex Kenish winning the men's competition (1:50.52). Mosley now ranks third in program history in the event.
Antonio Hanson won the 400m (45.82).
