Buckeyes Set for 2024 U.S. Collegiate Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State synchronized (artistic) swimming team makes its final trip of the 2024 season this week, traveling to Lewisville, Texas to compete at the U.S. Collegiate Championship. Routine finals will be contested Friday and Saturday at the Westside Aquatic Center, starting.

Routine Schedule
There will not be any preliminary swims at this year's championship. Event schedule is as follows:
Friday, March 22
Ohio State has won the last two national championships and 34 overall. The team has won five of the last six championships. In addition to team titles, the Buckeyes have won 18 solo, 28 duet, 28 trio and 33 team routine titles.
Last season, Ohio State won the A Figures, solo and duet title on their way to winning the overall institution title.
Head coach Holly Vargo Brown is the reigning Coach of the Year, an award which she has won seven times in her 12 years leading the Buckeyes.

- 9:30 a.m. – C & D Technical Competition
- 11:30 a.m. – A & B Technical Competition
- 2:00 p.m. – Solo Competition
- 4:00 p.m. – Duet Competition
- 7:30 a.m. – Doors Open
- 9:15 a.m. – Trio Competition
- 12:30 p.m. – Team Competition
- 2:45 p.m. – Awards

- Ohio State last competed at the North Regional Championship meet on Feb. 24. The Buckeyes won the meet with 103 points overall in the last home meet of the year.
- Eight of Ohio State's 16 on the 2024 roster were members of last year's title-winning team. Emily Armstrong, Carol Walsh, Hannah Heffernan, Marian Catahan and Victoria Carlson have been a part of the last two national titles.
- Two athletes with ties to Ohio State will be competing at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Ruby Remati, who was the Individual High Point award winner at last year's national championship meet, and Nikki Dzurko, a three-time solo national champion for the Buckeyes, will compete with Team USA at the Games.
