COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 15 Ohio State women's gymnastics team finished third at the 2024 Kidney Care Women's Gymnastics Championships with a score of 196.250 on Saturday night at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
The Buckeyes' first event of the night – uneven bars – was its best of the meet. The team scored a season-best 49.300 to start the meet. Nicole Riccardi scored a 9.925 to lead the team and tie for third overall. Maisyn Rader made her competitive debut on the apparatus, scoring a 9.875.
Ohio State gymnasts scored three 9.900s on the day. In addition to Riccardi's 9.925 on bars, Ella Hodges tied her career high of 9.950 on floor to tie for second overall. Payton Harris added a 9.925 in the event to tie for fourth.
Tory Vetter led the Buckeyes in the all-around, finishing third overall with a 39.425. Her best events in the meet were beam and floor, scoring a 9.875 on both.
