- The No. 1 women’s hockey team has won 11 consecutive games to improve to 24-2-0 overall and 21-1-0 in the WCHA after a weekend sweep over Bemidji State by scores of 11-1 and 9-1.

- The men’s golf team won the loaded Southwestern Invitational at the North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, Calif. Neal Shipley shot a 65 in the final round to claim medalist honors and his first collegiate victory.

- The women’s tennis team improved to 5-1 with wins this weekend over Duke and UCLA while Coach Melissa Schaub became the program record holder with 225 career victories and team captain Irina Cantos Siemers set the program record with 113 career singles wins.

- A Ty Tucker Tennis Center record crowd of 769 was on hand to see the men’s tennis team defeat defending national champion Virginia, 7-0, on Friday. Sunday the team disposed of Wake Forest, 6-1, to stay unbeaten at 8-0.

- The women’s swimming and diving team stayed unbeaten (6-0 in dual meets) with a 202-97 win over Pittsburgh and the men also stayed perfect on the season (5-0) with a 179-121 win over the Panthers on Senior Day this past Friday.






- Men’s volleyball (7-2 overall and 1-0 in the MIVA) opened conference play with a 3-1 victory over Lindenwood on Sunday.

- The men’s gymnastics team is now 7-1 after taking second in a tri-meet at No. 2 Oklahoma and that included Arizona State. The Buckeyes scored a season-high 400.600.

- The women’s gymnastics team defeated Illinois at the Covelli Center on Monday and then secured its first road win of the season over Maryland on Sunday to improve to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the Big Ten.




- Women’s basketball is now 19-3 on the season and 10-1 – and tied for first – in the Big Ten after a wins over Wisconsin and a Top 10 Indiana team last week. The Buckeyes played in front of another raucous and terrific crowd vs. the Hoosiers: 10,130 fans.

- Wrestling split matches at Penn State and Rutgers over the weekend and is now 13-2 overall and 5-1 in the Big Ten.
- The synchronized swimming team placed second in the three-team Jessica C. Beck Memorial Invitational that included overall winner, Stanford, and Michigan. This was the opening event of the year for the program.
