COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 1 Ohio State women's hockey team will play its final regular season home series this weekend when it hosts St. Thomas Feb. 16-17 at the OSU Ice Rink. The Buckeyes (26-2-0, 23-1 WCHA) and Tommies (8-22-1, 2-21-1 WCHA) faceoff at 6 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday.

Both games will be streamed on B1G+ (subscription required). Saturday's game will also be televised locally on the CW and on FOX9+ in Minnesota.

Buckeyes in a Nutshell
- Last weekend, the Buckeyes swept Minnesota State to earn their program record tying 23rd conference win. The team shut out the Mavericks, 3-0, in game one and won game two, 6-2.
- Hannah Bilka, who leads the Buckeyes with 35 points and 23 assists this season, has surpassed the 100 career assist mark. She is one of four active NCAA players with over 100 career assists.
- Joy Dunne has a team-high 16 goals on the year. She is second among rookies nationally in goals scored and fourth in points (28).
- Kiara Zanon owns the Buckeyes longest active point streak with at least a point in the last six games. She has recorded four multi-point games in the stretch.
- Bilka, Zanon (32) and Jenn Gardiner (32) are the first Buckeyes to hit 30 points this year.
- Ohio State goaltending has been some of the best in the country this season. Raygan Kirk and Amanda Thiele are second and third, respectively, in win percentage nationally. Kirk has only allowed 1.019 goals per game, which ranks second among Division I goaltenders and first in the WCHA.
- Ohio State currently holds first place in the WCHA with a seven-point lead over second-place Wisconsin. The Buckeyes need five points to clinch a share of 2023-24 Julianne Bye Cup. The team needs two regulation wins this weekend to win the regular season title outright.Â
- The team has already secured home ice for the quarterfinals of the WCHA tournament by finishing as a top-four team in the league. The best-of-three series will be held March 1-3 at the OSU Ice Rink. Tickets for those games will go on sale next week.
- Saturday is Senior Day at the OSU Ice Rink. The team will recognize Cayla Barnes, Lauren Bernard, Hannah Bilka, Kelsey King, Raygan Kirk and Stephanie Markowski prior to the game. The senior celebration will start approximately one hour before puck drop.
- Ohio State is 10-0-0 all-time against St. Thomas.
- The Buckeyes were St. Thomas' first opponent as a Division I team in 2021-22.
- Earlier this season, Ohio State earned 7-1 and 6-2 wins.
- Thiele has won 52 games in the Buckeye sweater. She is five wins shy of the all-time record.
- Dunne's 28 points ties for ninth in season points by a freshman in the Ohio State record book.
- Jenna Buglioni has three shorthanded goals this season, which ties for second in the Ohio State record book. Her three shorthanded goals are the most in a season since the 2005-06 campaign.Â
