The No. 1 seed and top-ranked men’s soccer team defeated No. 16 Stanford yesterday, 4-2 on penalty kicks, to advance to the 2024 NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals. The 15-1-4 Buckeyes will host Wake Forest Saturday at 5 p.m. this week at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
The No. 9 women’s basketball team remained unbeaten at 7-0 with 23- and 36-point wins over Old Dominion and Utah State at the Daytona Beach Classic last week. The team opens Big Ten play Sunday at the Schottenstein Center vs. Illinois.
The men’s basketball team went 1-1 last week, including a win over Green Bay, and enters Big Ten play Wednesday at Maryland with a 5-2 record.
