COLUMBUS, Ohio – Payton Harris and Tory Vetter of the Ohio State women's gymnastics team were named Big Ten Gymnasts to Watch for the 2025 season, the conference announced Tuesday.

The Buckeyes were picked to finish fourth in the Big Ten by conference coaches. Ohio State follows Michigan State, UCLA and Michigan. Â

Both gymnasts are all-around competitors for the Buckeyes. The duo led the team on vault last year with season-bests of 9.925. They were also top three on the team on uneven bars and floor. Both have tied the program all-around record (39.625) in their respective careers.

Harris, a junior from Franklin, Wis., has competed in the all-around in every meet for the last two seasons. The two-time First Team All-Big Ten honoree won seven all-around titles in 2024. She won the uneven bars title at the 2024 Big Five meet with a score of 9.925. She recorded 21 scores of 9.900 or higher last season for the Buckeyes during her sophomore campaign.

Vetter, a redshirt junior from Hilliard, is the reigning Big Ten beam champion. She finished second in the all-around at the conference championship last season. A First Team All-Big Ten competitor, Vetter scored a 9.900 or higher 20 times in 2024. She finished her redshirt sophomore season with six event titles.

The Buckeyes start the 2025 season at the 2025 Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad in Oklahoma City, Okla. on Jan. 11. The team's home opener is against Iowa on Jan. 18 at the Covelli Center. Single meet tickets can be purchased HERE.
